A spiritual practice based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, incorporates physical exercises, meditation and self improvement.

In 1999 the Chinese Communist Party added Falun Dafa to its long list of illegal practices. China then began the terrifying and systematic campaign of arrests, torture and executions of Falun Dafa practitioners. Sterling traveled to China in 2002 to peacefully protest the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Dafa. He was arrested, detained and beaten. To this day, Sterling continues to speak out and participate in peaceful protests around the world to help clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and the current day violent persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners in China and around the world.

Sterling has been practicing Falun Gong since 1998.
